The nursery has a strong leadership team and is committed to ensuring children receive the best possible start to their learning journey. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior nursery professional to step into a leadership role as Deputy Nursery Manager, supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the provision. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting the Nursery Manager with the daily management and organisation of the nursery, • Leading and supervising nursery staff to ensure high-quality practice, • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging early years activities in line with the EYFS framework, • Monitoring children’s development and ensuring accurate record keeping, • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are fully met, • Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals, • Acting as Deputy in the Manager’s absence The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Previous experience in a senior leadership role within a nursery or early years setting (essential), • A relevant childcare qualification that is on the DfE approved list (essential), • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – desirable, • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development and wellbeing, • A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures About Supply Heroes: • Excellent rates of pay on PAYE, • Around the clock support whenever you need it, • Commitment to a quality of service and safeguarding, • Support with any interviews and lesson observations, • Transparency and honesty, • Exclusive job roles around the West Midlands If you are interested in this role, please apply now with your CV.
