Support production teams in maintaining product safety and compliance with quality standards. Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste, inefficiencies, and operational costs. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reliability, and performance. Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and effectively. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Analyse equipment performance and report on maintenance issues and trends. Work with PLC systems for fault diagnosis and repair. Conduct routine inspections and ensure optimal machine performance. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives. Develop a comprehensive understanding of site processes, equipment, and systems. Support delivery of the site maintenance strategy to reduce unplanned downtime and optimise costs. Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Understanding of PLC systems (fault finding essential; programming desirable). Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, TPM, 5S). Good understanding of preventative maintenance systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Well-organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and self-motivated approach.
