We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our clients dynamic kitchen team. Our client is a 2 Rosette, 4* Star hotel and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a CDP, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation. Responsibilities • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards., • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning food items., • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations., • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed., • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods., • Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices., • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use. Skills • Proven experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting., • Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques., • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail., • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a kitchen environment., • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to help others as needed.
