Project Manager - Specialist Engineering Projects Location: Blackbushe, UKDepartment: ProjectsReports To: Programme ManagerContract Type: PermanentOffice Attendance: • Initially 5 days per week (first few months). We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of custom engineering projects in the maritime and marine sector. The role requires a strong engineering mindset, combined with proven project management expertise. Candidates with a background in mechanical design, programme management, are highly desirable. Ability to obtain security clearance is essential. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification., • Ensure projects are properly planned, resourced, and executed., • Assist with Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) cost estimations., • Monitor costs against project plans and escalate deviations., • Develop comprehensive project specifications and system designs., • Develop functional, environmental, and production test procedures., • Identify, document, assess, and mitigate project risks., • Escalate significant risks to senior management where appropriate., • Lead and participate in internal and external gateway reviews., • Manage customer engagement, including meetings and communications., • Provide clear, timely communication to internal and external stakeholders., • Support installation and commissioning activities remotely where required., • Ensure effective handover and training to the Customer Support team.
