This is an opportunity for talented, high performing and ambitious Senior Manager to join the Corporate Reporting Advisory Team (CRT) in the Audit Quality Department (AQD) in an exciting period, to help to shape the role and the expanding team. You will report into the Team Partners and work closely with Directors. General responsibilities • Work with Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners within both AQD, the Audit Stream and across the wider firm, • Maintain and encourage an open and constructive environment in which to provide technical accounting support and advice, • Bring pre-existing financial services specialist technical accounting knowledge (this might be Banking and Alternative Finance, Fintech or Insurance focused), and experience to the CRT team and contribute to all output areas, • Provide support and supervision to the more junior team members. Specific responsibilities The individual will support the CRT Directors and other members of AQD, ultimately reporting to the AQD lead partners and will be responsible for the following: • Technical review of a personal portfolio of annual reports of publicly traded and other higher risk companies, working with the audit team to confirm compliance with financial reporting standards, company legislation and regulatory requirements, • Providing clear and practical solutions to the most complex technical financial reporting queries, and act as a consultant for the more junior members of the team in your specialist area, • Preparing and presenting financial reporting training, updates and seminars both internally and externally, • Helping to develop financial reporting tools and guidance for application by the firm’s partners and staff, • Writing articles and other publications on financial reporting matters for internal and external communications, • Assisting with the preparation of draft responses to external consultations in relation to legal, regulatory and financial reporting matters, • Monitoring external developments in financial reporting areas and, specifically in your specialist area, reporting back to the team and developing an appropriate action plan where required, • Supporting and coaching the more junior members of the CRT and wider AQD team. The role would be particularly suited to an individual with experience of working within the technical department of another major firm of accountants, or an experienced auditor who is looking to move into a technical role and is able to demonstrate a strong technical aptitude. The right candidate for this role will: • Be ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent, • Be a Senior Manager in a technical team or have other relevant experience in technical financial reporting, • Exhibit a strong working knowledge of:, • IFRSs, UK GAAP, and the Companies Act, • Sector specialism for financial services, particularly Banking and Alternative Finance, Fintech or Insurance. The Lead Programme Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Learning Implementation team, a group of 5-6 individuals who are geographically spread across the UK. They will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and management of various external suppliers including venues, facilitators, licenses and event production and, together with the other team leads, will manage the book of work (and relative prioritisation) for learning across the Stream; with audiences of 3,600 learners and covering both in person and virtual learning. The Lead Programme Manager will own the effective delivery, prioritisation, and execution of the Audit L&D calendar of events, including early in careers, post qualified learning, US, FS and other sectors curricula, ensuring learning is implemented effectively, in an efficient and standardised manner. They will work closely with colleagues across the L&D team, particularly the Audit L&D Operations team and the Leadership Team (LT). It is expected that any successful candidate has a working knowledge of Audit and the associated regulatory environment and practical experience of learning implementation is a must for the role. Strong project management, an ability to work with and influence and variety of stakeholders, and a focus on continuous improvement are also key for the role. Learning experience should be a top priority for any successful candidate. The successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK. Regional candidates are welcomed. Travel to the London office, where Audit Stream L&D is based, as well as some travel to other offices and external venues, will be required. Certain support on courses will require residential stays. This role is a fixed term contract for eighteen months. Title: Mail and Communications Administrator Location: Leeds The Position This role supports Patent Attorneys by managing and organizing large volumes of documents and files. The successful candidate will maintain accurate filing systems, distribute incoming correspondence via mail, fax, and email, and prepare outgoing mail and parcels for UK and international delivery. Working as part of a team of six, they will also provide administrative support to ensure professionals have the information they need. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, as accuracy underpins the effectiveness of the entire office. What You’ll Be Trusted With: You’ll take the lead on designing and delivering Fortinet SD-WAN solutions across enterprise and service-provider environments — end to end. • Owning SD-WAN architecture, design, and deployment from HLD to LLD, • Leading migrations from legacy WANs to modern, secure SD-WAN environments, • Configuring and optimising FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer, • Acting as the technical authority in front of customers and stakeholders, • Mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across the team, • Troubleshooting complex, high-impact networking issues when it matters most What You Bring: • 5+ years in network engineering, • 3+ years delivering Fortinet SD-WAN in production environments, • Deep hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, • Strong grounding in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPSec, QoS, • Confidence leading large-scale deployments and migrations, • The ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and non-engineers Nice to have (not blockers): • Experience in MSP or complex multi-client environments, • Exposure to cloud integrations (AWS / Azure), • Fortinet certifications (NSE5–8 / FCP / FCSS) Location: UK - Remote Contract: 3 months Rate: to £450 per day Start: week 1/2 January 2026 Eligibility: UK based If you’re a Fortinet SD-WAN specialist we’d like to speak with you!
