Data Migration Consultant - £625 per day Inside IR35 - Global Business A consumer-focused business based in Southampton is delivering a major Salesforce transformation and is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to own and deliver a complex data migration programme. This role will be responsible for migrating data from three legacy platforms that currently do not provide high-quality or reliable data into a new Salesforce environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, managing complexity, and delivering a robust migration strategy that supports improved customer insight and business decision-making. The Role • Lead the end-to-end migration of data from multiple legacy systems into Salesforce., • Define, own, and execute the data migration strategy in line with a newly created business and technology strategy., • Plan, manage, and deliver migration dry runs, resolving issues ahead of final cutover., • Work closely with a Salesforce implementation partner to define data selection criteria and apply transformation and data quality rules., • Ensure the right data is migrated at the right time, with appropriate governance and controls., • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across a matrix organisation, navigating complexity and slower decision-making where required., • Clearly articulate migration plans, risks, dependencies, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
