The Position We have a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Governance Risk & Compliance (DGRC) to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The DGRC plays a critical role in ensuring that OSG UK Ltd operates with integrity, accountability, and compliance. This role provides strategic oversight and leadership in governance, risk management, and compliance, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, Board processes are effective, and key risk areas such as child protection, Privacy, and WHS are proactively managed. By embedding strong governance and compliance practices, this role safeguards the integrity and sustainability of OneSchool Global in the UK, ensuring it meets the highest standards of ethical and regulatory responsibility. Key responsibilities: Governance • Ensuring the OSGUK Board is fully aware of their obligations, operate within regulatory frameworks, and conduct well-governed and effective meetings., • Lead and continuously strengthen the school’s governance framework, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and decision-making across the board and committees., • Develop and maintain the school’s risk management framework, ensuring that key strategic, operational, financial, and safeguarding risks are identified, assessed, and effectively mitigated., • Produce and maintain the school’s Risk Register and ensure regular review by leadership and governors., • Oversee compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements including (but not limited to) safeguarding, data protection, health & safety, and charity law,, • Lead internal compliance audits and coordinate responses to external inspections and regulatory reviews (e.g. DfE, ISI, Ofsted, HSE, Charity Commission),, • Develop and maintain a policy management framework ensuring all policies are current, compliant, and effectively implemented.
