With a focus on energy efficiency, low-carbon design, and sustainability, this consultancy has built a legacy of excellence and long-standing client relationships.\n\nAs part of their growth strategy, they are expanding their sustainability services and are looking for a skilled professional to lead and support projects in BREEAM (non-domestic and residential), Whole Life Carbon (WLCA), Circular Economy, and Building Physics. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a collaborative team, contribute to meaningful projects, and shape the future of sustainability in the built environment.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary, with flexibility based on experience (£40,000 - £60,000).\nHybrid working model, offering a balance between office and remote work.\nOpportunity to work with a highly respected consultancy known for its engineering excellence and commitment to sustainability.\nSupportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on professional development and career progression.\nExposure to a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including residential and non-domestic.\nChance to play a key role in shaping the company's sustainability services and capabilities\n\nDay-to-Day\n\nConduct BREEAM assessments and provide guidance to project teams on achieving certification.\nPerform Whole Life Carbon assessments and recommend strategies for reducing carbon impact.\nCollaborate with internal teams and clients to embed sustainability into project designs.\nSupport the development of internal processes and tools to enhance the delivery of sustainability services.\nAttend project meetings, both in-person and virtually, to provide sustainability input and updates.\nWork from the London office at least 1-2 days per week, with flexibility to work from home or other office locations (Oxford or Manchester) as needed.\nAssist the Building Physics team during downtime in BREEAM, WLCA, and Circular Economy projects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead and manage BREEAM assessments for both residential and non-domestic projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and certifications.\nProvide expertise in Whole Life Carbon (WLCA) analysis, supporting the delivery of low-carbon and sustainable design solutions.\nCollaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to integrate sustainability principles into project designs.\nSupport the development of in-house capabilities in WLCA, Circular Economy, and Building Physics, reducing reliance on outsourced services.\nContribute to the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, and client proposals.\nStay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and energy efficiency.\nMentor and upskill team members in sustainability practices, particularly in WLCA, BREEAM, and Circular Economy.\n\nQualifications\n\nProven experience in delivering BREEAM assessments (essential).\nStrong expertise in Whole Life Carbon (WLCA) analysis (essential).\nExperience with Circular Economy principles and Building Physics (desirable, but highly advantageous).\nProficiency in IES software or similar tools (desirable).\nA relevant degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.\nStrong understanding of energy efficiency, low-carbon design, and sustainable building practices.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.\nA proactive and self-motivated approach, with a passion for driving sustainability in the built environment.If you are a passionate and experienced Sustainability Consultant with expertise in BREEAM, Whole Life Carbon, and Circular Economy, and you are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the built environment, we would love to hear from you.\n\nApply today to join a forward-thinking consultancy that values innovation, sustainability, and employee growth
