The Procurement Officer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient sourcing and procurement of goods, optimising inventory management and supporting the overall logistics operations of the company. The Job Description is as below: - Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's operational needs and objectives; - Review and analyse purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures; - Maintain supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods; - Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing agreements; - Evaluate and recommend improvements to procurement policies, procedures, and processes; - Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities; - Constantly looking for new supply resources and prioritising suppliers that conduct their operations with a very clear and open sustainability guideline; - Ensures the purchase costs are kept under the budget and find opportunities for cost reduction; - Drives changes in procurement procedures to align with organisational strategy as well as industry and market competition; - To develop, update and ensures fidelity to food safety policies and procedures at the suppliers is maintained.
