Managing relationships with Freight Forwarders, all internal departments, and understanding their logistical needs as well as tracking all shipments within the supply chain from point of supply to delivery to the destination, ensuring any problems that may arise are resolved promptly. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Freight (inbound/Outbound) -Coordinate imports with our transport partners for Custom clearance, ensuring correct product information for shipments, and sharing documents. -Arrange local, EU & international shipments through our forwarders, working closely with suppliers and internal colleagues to provide updates and tracking of all shipments. -Maintain shipment tracker and pricing matrix -Raise POs for freight -Manage invoice approval process -Communication with business partners like 3PL, 4PL and Hauliers -Freight KPI tracking Ad-hoc and Structured Reporting -Sales Order Tracker (outbound) -Inbound Tracker (truck & non-truck) -Cost & lane matrix -Ad hoc reporting on 3PL, 4PL and hauliers’ performance REQUIREMENTS Qualification & Experience -Proven experience in freight forwarding (Import and/or Export) -Strong understanding of Air, Road, and/or Sea freight operations and regulations -Knowledge of commodity/HS codes to deal with customs & duty taxes -Excellent documentation, organisational, and communication skills -Has identified and resolved common transit problems -Aware of Haz-Mat Rules and regulations for CPG transportation -Has customer-facing experience -SAP Business 1 is desirable but not essential Attributes -Good Excel skills -Proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative-taking -Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work well under pressure -High attention to detail -Ability to learn quickly -Systems-driven with good analytical skills -Excellent time and self-management -Keen to learn and motivated

Responsibilities: • Liaise daily with customs clearance agents, forwarders, haulage providers, and various receiving sites., • Capture shipments and set them up within the internal ERP system., • Arrange delivery slots from ports to designated receiving sites., • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate, compliant with UK regulations, and meets group requirements., • Track the real-time progress of shipments to ensure timely deliveries to retailers., • Analyze supply chain data to identify potential disruptions and implement alternative logistics plans., • Monitor freight rates to ensure correct billing and accurately input charges into the company software., • Coordinate with packing service providers regarding arrival notifications and maintain accurate log files., • Provide necessary data for intake quality checks and capture arrivals on partner systems., • Assist in stock management and the allocation of produce to meet customer orders. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination., • Proven experience working within the fresh produce, perishables, or FMCG industry., • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically using formulas to analyze and reference complex data sets., • Extensive experience coordinating with 3rd-party logistics providers, including haulage, forwarders, and customs agents., • Hands-on experience managing shipping documentation and arrival notifications., • Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems for data entry and supply chain tracking., • A Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is preferred but not mandatory
