Fire & Security Project Engineer – London – £47,000–£52,000 + Overtime Fire & Security Project Engineer | London | Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Project Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security solutions provider based in London. Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of projects, our client is looking to strengthen their delivery team with a technically strong engineer who can manage and support projects across fire and security systems from inception through to completion. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, overtime, company vehicle, and long-term career progression within a reputable organisation. Fire & Security Project Engineer – Package & Benefits • Salary: £47,000 – £52,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) • Overtime available • Company vehicle & fuel card • Travel time paid • Pension scheme • Annual leave entitlement • Ongoing training and development • Permanent, full-time role • Location: London (field-based, multi-site projects) Fire & Security Project Engineer – Role & Responsibilities • Managing and supporting the delivery of fire and security system projects across London • Coordinating installation, commissioning, and handover of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems • Working closely with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution • Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation • Ensuring all works are delivered in line with BS 5839 and relevant industry standards • Carrying out site surveys, progress checks, and technical support visits • Overseeing commissioning activities and system integration works • Producing and completing project documentation, O&M manuals, and handover packs • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality Fire & Security Project Engineer – Skills & Experience Required • Full UK driving licence (essential) • Previous experience in Fire & Security, Fire Alarm, or Security Systems Engineering • Strong understanding of fire alarm and electronic security systems • Experience across multiple disciplines (fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms) • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Strong organisational and communication skills • FIA, CSCS/ECS, IPAF, or similar certifications (desirable) • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to manage multiple projects Apply Now If you are a Fire & Security Project Engineer looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and career progression in London, please submit your CV today to be considered.
