Overall responsibilities: ○ To ensure all kitchen surfaces (and floors) and kept clean, sanitised and organised at all times. ○ To collect, wash and dry all cooking utensils, tools, pots, pans, tableware, glassware, etc. ○ To maintain a tidy kitchen/working section during your shift and being thoughtful of those working in the following shift. ○ Ensuring the rubbish bins are emptied and taken out in a timely manner to avoid clutter. Health, Safety and Hygiene ○ Support completing company checklists diligently and in a timely manner. ○ To ensure that all health & safety policies, hygiene processes and company systems are followed – you are responsible to flag anything that could affect yours or another team member’s (or customer’s) wellbeing to your manager immediately. ○ To ensure that all food/ingredients stock is managed following a FIFO (first in first out) system.
