HR Assistant / Administrator - 12 months FTC \n Location: Kingswinford Salary: negotiable Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday \n About the Role \n We are seeking an organised and professional HR Administrator to join our busy team. This is a varied role providing administrative support across all areas of Human Resources, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting in organisational change processes, maintaining accurate HR records, and assisting with a range of payroll administration duties. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department.\n, • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and personnel files.\n, • Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.\n, • Coordinate new starter, induction, and leaver processes.\n, • Process employment changes including promotions, transfers, salary changes, and contractual amendments.\n, • Support absence management administration, including recording and monitoring sickness and annual leave.\n, • Assist with recruitment administration, arranging interviews and issuing offer documentation.\n, • Prepare HR reports, management information, and employee correspondence.\n, • Manage confidential employee data in accordance with GDPR requirements.\n, • Support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, and investigation administration.\n, • Organise meetings, prepare documentation, and take notes where required.\n, • Respond to employee and manager HR queries in a professional and timely manner.\n, • Assist with policy updates and HR communications.\n\n Payroll Administration Support \n\n • Assist with the preparation and submission of payroll information.\n, • Process employee changes including starters, leavers, salary amendments, and contractual updates.\n, • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.\n, • Liaise with payroll providers and internal departments to resolve payroll queries.\n, • Support monthly payroll checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.\n\n Redundancy & Change Management Support \n\n • Prepare consultation letters,meeting invitations, and supporting documentation.\n, • Coordinate meetings and diary management for HR and management teams.\n, • Support the preparation of redundancy calculations, notice letters, and exit documentation.\n, • Ensure all redundancy-related administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.\n, • Assist with organisational change projects and restructuring activities.\n\n Skills & Experience \n\n • Previous experience within an HR Administration, HR Assistant, or similar role.\n, • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\n, • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.\n, • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.\n, • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Exposure to payroll administration would be advantageous.\n, • Experience supporting redundancy, consultation, or employee relations processes is highly desirable.\n, • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be beneficial but is not essential.\n\n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator seeking a varied role with exposure to payroll, employee relations, and organisational change activities within a supportive HR function.If you have experience of a similar role and can start immediately, please attach your CV to apply. \n
