    We are looking for a dynamic social media expert to join the PR & Marketing team at [Firmdale Hotels](https://www.firmdalehotels.com/). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate team based in Soho, responsible for the communications for our eight award-winning hotels in London, as well as the Firmdale brand. The role will provide insight into travel and F&B social media management for one of the UK's most successful, privately owned luxury hotel brands. Role and Responsibilities: • Lead the social media strategy for Firmdale Hotels across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. Take ownership of copywriting, content creation, scheduling, publishing and community management for the social channels. What you'll be doing: • Owning the Relationship: Acting as the primary commercial and contractual lead across your public sector portfolio, building trust with senior stakeholders and procurement teams., • Commercial Leadership: Leading contract governance, renewals, extensions, and commercial negotiations, while proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and new service offerings., • Service Oversight: Collaborating with delivery and leadership teams to ensure we meet KPIs, SLAs, and contractual commitments. What We’re Looking For You are a seasoned professional with a background in a digital consultancy, professional services, or agency environment. You know how to manage public sector accounts and have a strong grasp of procurement frameworks and contract management. Essential Experience: • Significant experience managing public sector clients (central government, arms-length bodies, or local government) within an agency or consultancy setting., • A proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships at a senior level., • Strong commercial awareness, contract negotiation skills, and a track record of overseeing service delivery against strict KPIs., • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities. Bonus points if you have: • Experience working within Government Digital Service (GDS) environments., • Knowledge of agile delivery methodologies and experience managing multidisciplinary digital teams., • Familiarity with frameworks like Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS) or G-Cloud. Purpose of the Internship The purpose of this internship is to provide practical, hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, community engagement, and brand development within an early-stage startup environment. The internship is designed to support the intern’s professional growth while contributing meaningfully to Solfinds’ mission of inspiring people to discover extraordinary travel experiences. Internship Duration This is a 7 months programme. The internship will initially be reviewed after 90 days to discuss progress, development, and future opportunities. Expected Commitment Expected working hours: 20 hours per week. Expected Work style: Remote. Working hours and responsibilities may be adjusted by mutual agreement as the needs of the business evolve. Responsibilities The intern may be involved in activities including, but not limited to: • Creating engaging social media content., • Researching travel destinations and trends., • Supporting community engagement across social platforms., • Assisting with content planning and scheduling., • Generating creative campaign ideas., • Monitoring content performance and suggesting improvements., • Supporting marketing initiatives and brand awareness campaigns., • Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas. Supervision & Development The intern will work under the guidance of the Solfinds leadership team. Regular feedback, mentoring, and development discussions will be provided to support learning, creativity, and professional growth. Questions, ideas, and initiative are encouraged throughout the internship. However, we require an intern confident to work with and without supervision. Internship Status This internship is currently unpaid. As Solfinds is an early-stage startup, the internship is offered as a learning and professional development opportunity rather than paid employment. Should the business grow to a stage where paid opportunities become available, interns who have demonstrated commitment, professionalism, and strong performance may be considered for future paid positions. However, this internship does not guarantee future employment or remuneration.
