Facilities Electrician – Berkswell Location: Berkswell (Covering UK-wide client sites) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Electrical – Commercial / Facilities Management Salary: £39,000 – £42,000 The Role We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join a growing facilities management provider delivering electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection works across a wide range of commercial client sites throughout the UK. This is a mobile field-based role covering nationwide locations, carrying out a mix of installation, reactive maintenance, testing, and fault-finding duties across electrical and low-voltage systems. The position offers variety across multiple systems including CCTV, intercoms, fire alarms, and general electrical infrastructure, with regular travel required to different client sites. Key Responsibilities • Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works across commercial sites, • Conduct fault finding and diagnostic investigations, • Carry out electrical inspection and testing (EICR), • Install, service, and maintain CCTV systems, • Install and maintain intercom systems, • Support fire alarm system maintenance and repairs, • Respond to reactive maintenance callouts, • Work across multiple UK-wide client sites, • Support other trades where required, • Compete all relevant documentation and certification Requirements • Proven experience as a qualified electrician in commercial environments, • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability, • Experience working with CCTV and intercom systems, • Fire alarm system experience, • Full UK driving licence, • Willingness to travel nationally across client sites, • Ability to work independently in the field Qualifications • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (essential), • City & Guilds 2391 – Test & Inspection (essential), • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) (essential) What’s on Offer • Salary of £39,000 – £42,000, • UK-wide varied workload across multiple sectors, • Permanent long-term opportunity, • Exposure to a wide range of electrical and low-voltage systems, • Stable role within an established facilities management provider, • Career development across multiple technical disciplines
