Ideally, you will have at least two years’ experience working within residential property, preferably within a sales negotiator, senior negotiator, client manager or similar role. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who: • Genuinely enjoys dealing with people, • Is confident speaking to buyers and sellers on the phone, • Understands how to negotiate property offers, • Is dependable, trustworthy and organised, • Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do, • Can work independently from home, • Communicates well and keeps people informed, • Understands that excellent customer service is what sets a good estate agent apart, • Is comfortable working as part of a small team, • Wants to develop their career rather than simply clock in and clock out Knowledge of Leeds and the surrounding property market would be an advantage. Working arrangements This is a full-time, five-day-a-week role. Saturday working is essential, with a weekday off in return. The role will predominantly be home based, so you will need: • A suitable home working environment, • A reliable internet connection, • Good mobile phone coverage, • Access to a suitable computer A business mobile phone will be provided. What we can offer Because we’re a small and growing business, this role offers considerably more scope than a traditional corporate estate agency position. You’ll work closely with the owners of the business and have the opportunity to take on more responsibility as the company grows. There will be opportunities for: • Career progression, • Increased responsibility, • Commission and referral income, • Training and development, • Becoming an important part of the long-term growth of the business We’re looking for somebody who wants to build something with us. If you’re an experienced estate agent who enjoys looking after people, wants more responsibility and would like to join a small business where your contribution genuinely matters, we’d love to hear from you.
