The Role: Early Careers Talent Acquisition Business Partner We are seeking a passionate and strategic Early Careers Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead our recruitment efforts for apprentices, graduates, interns, across the UK. This is a key role within our growing Talent team, focused on building and delivering early careers programmes that attract diverse, high-potential talent to fuel our future growth. You’ll partner closely with business unit leaders and People colleagues to design and execute an early careers recruitment strategy aligned with Lockton’s long-term talent goals. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Partnering: Work with business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and shape the early careers hiring strategy accordingly., • Attraction & Sourcing: Lead targeted attraction campaigns using schools, universities, events, social media, job boards, and partnerships to reach diverse and high-potential candidates., • Candidate Experience: Ensure a best-in-class experience throughout the recruitment process—from application to onboarding—representing our brand with professionalism, warmth, and inclusivity., • Stakeholder Engagement: Educate and influence hiring managers on early careers hiring best practice, assessment methods, and inclusive recruitment., • Process Management: Manage end-to-end recruitment cycles including advertising, shortlisting, coordinating assessment centres, interviews, and offer management., • Market Insight: Stay informed of trends in early careers and youth employment, using data and insights to inform and evolve our strategy., • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Lockton externally at career fairs, university events, and DEI-focused outreach initiatives., • Talent Pipeline Development: Build long-term talent pools for future roles, maintaining relationships with candidates and networks specifically continuing key partnerships with LIIBA and London Insurance Life, and feeding associate recruitment into business pipelines in both program and off program hiring. About You We’re looking for someone who is passionate about early careers, social mobility, and developing the next generation of talent into the insurance industry. You’ll be a confident communicator, relationship-builder, and advocate for inclusive hiring via multiple pathways and strategic partnerships.
