What You’ll do (the role) Summary Support the O&M business with a variety of administrative, clerical, logistical and client facing tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the teams. Duties and Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage all travel logistics for the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, including arranging flights, ground transportation, training sessions, and accommodation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to meet business requirements., • Take a leading role in the organisation and execution of a wide range of events and conferences, both internal meetings and external stakeholder engagements, managing all aspects from venue selection to post-event evaluation to ensure successful outcomes., • Assist in the induction and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are provided with all necessary information, resources, and introductions to integrate effectively into the company culture and operations., • Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the team, including managing inventories of personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the preparation and analysis of various operational reports., • Provide flexible support across the business, undertaking any additional tasks or duties as required to support team productivity., • Manage the company’s vehicle fleet, overseeing the full life cycle of vehicles from acquisition through to disposal. This includes preparing business case submissions for new vehicles, coordinating routine servicing, repairs, and MOTs; managing incident reporting and accident coordination; administering fuel card usage; and liaising with fleet service providers to ensure compliance and cost control., • Oversee office facilities management to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and functional work environment, including liaising with external contractors, managing day-to-day maintenance requests, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards., • Support Business Development and Marketing teams by assisting with project coordination, content preparation, event support, and other activities that contribute to the growth and visibility of the company., • Assist the Portfolio Management function with day-to-day operational processes, including the preparation and formatting of monthly slide decks, data consolidation, and other administrative tasks to support effective portfolio reporting and management. Who we’re looking for Knowledge • Office environment and working in a similar environment, • Knowledge of the solar or renewable energy industry would be an advantage but not essential Qualifications • Minimum of GCSE Qualifications, • Degree or admin / PA qualification desirable but not essential Experience • Accuracy, speed, proactivity, and an ability to ‘get things done’ are vital, • An ability to prioritise is key as the ability the manage a broad range of tasks, • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, • Experience of working with a wide range of people, • Solid IT Skills are required, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint., • Ability to deal with heavy workload Why you’ll make a great member of the team Personal qualities • Self confidence, • Positive work ethic, • Detailed oriented, • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, • Office based, flexibility to work from home, but may require more office presence over peak periods, • Team player, • Can remain calm under pressure and within a busy environment Why you’ll want to work for us Our company is a place where you can be yourself and grow, a place where your ideas and opinions matter.
