Development Project Manager (Client-Side) Location: Hybrid with regular UK-wide travel (HQ based in Hertfordshire) Salary: £60K - £70K + Package Overview Our client is a major UK forecourt and roadside operator with a large national estate. They invest heavily in redevelopment, delivering 50+ projects annually across extensions, refurbishments, knockdown-rebuilds, and food-to-go installations. This is a client-side project management role overseeing delivery across a diverse national portfolio. Role Purpose This role manages end-to-end delivery of development projects, ensuring schemes are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities • Lead projects from detailed design through to practical completion., • Coordinate stakeholder sign-offs and discharge planning conditions., • Tender approved designs and maximise value engineering., • Review contractor programmes to minimise operational disruption., • Manage budgets, timelines, and scope across multiple live projects., • Ensure all H&S and quality standards are met., • Attend pre-start, progress, snagging, and PC meetings., • Track snagging and ensure timely close-out., • Liaise with internal teams on direct orders, deliveries, and installation schedules. Skills & Experience Essential: • Strong project management background., • Solid understanding of H&S requirements., • Commercial awareness and budget management capability., • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently., • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., • Willingness to travel extensively. Desirable: • Experience in forecourt/roadside environments., • Knowledge of petroleum regulations., • Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.
