Job Title: PA to Dean of Higher Education Salary: Commencing at £26,429 with progression to £27,981 per annumClosing Date: About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant (PA) to provide professional and proactive executive support to the Dean of University Centre Leeds. This is a pivotal role to ensure the smooth running of the Dean’s office and supporting the effective delivery of strategic and operational priorities. What You Will Do • Act as the first point of contact for the Dean, • Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Dean, including diary, email, and travel management., • Prepare correspondence i.e. reports, presentations to a high professional standard., • Coordinate and service meetings, ensuring agendas, papers are managed effectively., • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism., • Support faculty-wide projects, initiatives, and events as required., • Play a key role in maintaining efficient communication and ensuring that the Dean is well-supported in a busy and dynamic environment . About You, • Significant experience providing high-level administrative or PA support, ideally within a higher education or similarly complex organisation, • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities with tact and efficiency, • Be confident in working independently, exercising sound judgement, and representing the Dean’s office with professionalism, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google applications Annual leave: Curriculum and Management: 44 days plus bank holidays Curriculum support and business support: 39 days plus bank holidays Pension schemes with generous employer contributions: Teachers’ Pension Scheme Local Government Pension Scheme People’s Pension Scheme CPD opportunities: Annual staff conference plus 2 additional staff development days.
