Projects Coordinator / Administrator: Location: East Midlands (office-based, with occasional site travel) We’re working with a well-established contractor in the UK water sector, looking to appoint a Projects Administrator to support delivery across a range of clean and wastewater projects. This role will suit someone with strong organisational skills and experience in project or site-based administration, ideally within construction, utilities, or infrastructure environments. The Role: • Provide administrative support to project managers and delivery teams, • Maintain accurate project records, ensuring documentation is organised and audit-ready, • Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits, and compliance records, • Track document submissions, approvals, and revisions (document control), • Raise purchase orders and assist with supplier quotations, • Maintain procurement logs and support invoice reconciliation, • Coordinate plant and equipment hire, including tracking usage and off-hire, • Ensure accurate records of plant hire periods and costs, • Act as a key link between site teams and office-based delivery teams, • Maintain project trackers covering costs, procurement, and progress, • Support reporting on project performance, risks, and status, • Assist with H&S documentation and compliance processes Requirements: • Previous experience in an administrative or project support role, • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, • Experience maintaining records, documentation, and trackers, • Exposure to purchase orders, procurement, or supplier coordination, • Confident communicator, able to liaise with site and office teams, • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: • GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English, • Full UK Driving Licence, • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Desirable: • Experience within water, utilities, construction, or engineering sectors, • Familiarity with procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coins, etc.), • Experience with document control systems / CDEs, • Knowledge of plant hire processes and cost tracking, • Basic understanding of project delivery and commercial processes, • CSCS / IOSH or similar H&S awareness, • Business Administration qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) If interested to hear further, please apply online and a member of the team will be in touch
