Purpose of the Role The Head of Contracts is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Reveal’s contract negotiations, obligations, and implementation. This role ensures that contractual activities align with the company’s commercial objectives while effectively managing risk and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Reviewing customer contract terms and conditions to balance risk with commercial objectives. Provide a summary to management of the terms that exceed Reveal’s provision and highlighting non-standard contract terms., • Reviewing invitations to tender, preparing and submitting required responses to tender deadlines., • Analysing tender requirements, duties and obligations to ensure alignment with Reveal’s capabilities and service offerings., • Drafting, reviewing and updating standard contractual documents, including terms of sale, NDAs, MOUs, partnership agreements and distribution agreements., • Managing or helping to manage subcontractor and vendor relationships. Reviewing subcontract and third party agreements as required by the business., • Assessing commercial aspects of new contractual activity to identify associated risks and benefits., • Leading contract negotiations with customers, suppliers and partners., • Sourcing, engaging and managing the provision of external legal and privacy advice relating to other jurisdictions, as agreed by the business., • Analysing both new and existing contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure that content is commercially and legally sound and maximises commercial benefits to the business., • Obtaining approval for non-standard terms., • Developing, delivering and maintaining effective commercial methods, processes and operational procedures to ensure contracts are managed in line with internal and external compliance standards, including ISO and GDPR and other applicable laws., • Ensuring legal documents move smoothly and quickly from drafting/receipt, through collaboration and negotiation, to signature., • Monitoring the implementation and performance of signed contracts., • Preparation of contracts for suppliers/contract manufacturers., • Ensure signed contracts and other legal agreements and documents are stored securely in One Drive., • Acting as Data Protection Officer for the Company, to include provision of data protection guidance and training to the business, annual reviewing and updating the privacy policy and data protection policy., • Supervising the Bid Manager, including day to day management, task assignment, coaching and performance assessments. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Essential • Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Law, Finance or Business Management., • A minimum of 5 years’ PQE, with confidence operating as sole counsel., • Ability to use initiative and make decisions under pressure., • Excellent organisational skills to plan and use people and resources to ensure deadlines are met., • Ability to self-organise and prioritise as required., • Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form., • Exceptional time management skills., • High attention to detail and accuracy., • Strong leader., • Pragmatic, creative and solution-focused, Desirable • CCM qualification ( IACCM / World Commerce and Contracting)., • Knowledge of public sector contracts and government frameworks, • Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) and managed services contracts., • Expert knowledge of data protection law and practices.
