    Mind Over Monsters is a peer-led mental health support community, run by volunteers with lived experience. We are not a company or clinical service. We are looking for a Volunteer Social Media Admin to support the growth and visibility of the community through safe, responsible online content. This role focuses on content, engagement, and promotion, not crisis support. Responsibilities include: Creating and posting daily content (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, posts, stories) Promoting Mind Over Monsters in a safe and responsible way Responding to general messages and comments using approved wording Directing any safeguarding or crisis-related messages to the admin team Helping raise awareness of the group and how to access support Following posting guidelines, tone guidance, and safeguarding rules This role does not involve: 1-to-1 crisis support Giving mental health advice Handling safeguarding decisions independently Aged 18+ Willing to complete a Basic DBS check Confident using social media platforms (especially TikTok / Instagram) Good written communication and awareness of tone Able to follow boundaries, confidentiality, and posting guidelines Comfortable escalating concerns to the admin team Willing to work collaboratively and accept feedback No formal qualifications are required. Flexible, volunteer-based - Ideally able to post daily or most days - No fixed hours — wellbeing comes first This is a volunteer role within a peer-support community. Content safety, safeguarding, and admin wellbeing are prioritised over engagement or growth.

We are not a company, charity, or clinical service, and we do not provide medical, therapeutic, or professional mental health treatment. We are recruiting for Volunteer Admin / Moderator roles to support the safe and effective running of our community spaces. The role includes: Moderating group chats and online spaces to ensure group rules and boundaries are followed Offering peer support within clearly defined, non-clinical boundaries Encouraging healthy coping strategies and signposting to appropriate external services when needed Identifying safeguarding concerns and escalating them appropriately in line with internal policies Supporting a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all members Completing basic administrative tasks such as incident reporting and handovers This role does not involve: Providing professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment Acting as a crisis service or emergency responder Replacing statutory or clinical mental health services All Volunteer Admins are required to: Be aged 18 or over Complete a Basic DBS check Undertake training, supervision, and a trial period Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection policies Maintain clear boundaries and prioritise both member and admin wellbeing This is a voluntary role, and admin wellbeing is prioritised at all times. Volunteers are encouraged to take breaks, step back when needed, and work only within their capacity.
