We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis to join our team based in East Grinstead The Role: The Finance Manager will take ownership of day-to-day financial control, month-end close, management reporting, forecasting, and balance sheet governance. The role ensures accurate, timely and well-controlled financial information for senior management and Group. Key Tasks: Financial Control & Month-End Close • Own the month-end close process, • Review and post month-end journals, • Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations, • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation Management Reporting • Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis, • Produce KPIs, stock, working capital and cash reporting, • Deliver ad-hoc commercial and operational analysis Cashflow, Forecasting & Planning • Own weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting, • Maintain balance sheet and cashflow forecasts, • Lead quarterly reforecasts and annual budgets Audit, Compliance & Governance • Lead audit fieldwork, • Support statutory accounts preparation, • Ensure strong financial controls and documented processes The Candidate: • 5 years experience in a similar role, • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, • Commercially aware and able to challenge assumptions constructively, • Strong communicator with the ability to explain financial information to non‑finance stakeholders, • Proactive and solutions-focused, • Strong integrity and professional judgment, • Previous role as Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, or similar, • Experience within medium‑sized businesses or fast‑growing organisations, • Exposure to audit processes and working with external auditors What we Offer: • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
