The Scheme Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the schemes and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to residents. Your main duties as the Scheme Manager will include: • Being a positive voice for the service by communicating with service users and their families in a dignified and person-centred way, • Deliver services effectively and efficiently and have clear monitoring procedures and processes in place to ensure standards are continually met, • Provide management, leadership, and support to all staff, • Must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with dignified personal care and domestic tasks., • Ensure good communication and links with all stakeholders regarding the provision of services including commissioners, service users, relatives, social work teams etc., • Ensure that staff are trained for their roles and responsibilities and that all groups of staff within the team have access to appropriate training and learning opportunities., • Put in place measures to comply with CQC regulations and work to achieve the best care standards possible, • On call duties We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in management of a care service, ideally having worked in an Extra Care scheme or similar care setting.
