Greek Bazaar is the best London-based wholesale/ distributor of goods (imported mostly from Greece). We are currently looking for a bookkeeper who have experience in restaurants' stocks, bookkeeping and experienced Sage 50 Accounts. The Bookkeeper would process the orders/picking/goods receipts and recording accurate stock maintenance for all customers' orders and wholesaler'deliveries.
Location is in an office in Southall, London (UB2) - please be sure this is suitable for you.
Duties of the Bookkeeper include:
*Maintaining accurate financial recording of orders/deliveries using Sage 50 Accounts
*Processing Orders, picking lists, GRNs, delivery notes of=n Sage 50; use of Excel on daily basis for quick financial reporting
*Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards and other accounts
*Preparing and processing invoices, credit notes and purchase orders
*Managing and maintaining a system for recording financial transactions
*Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
*Liaising with external parties such as accountants, tax advisers and auditors as required
*Stock take for deliveries on arrival, scanning of barcodes; *Handling queries and resolving discrepancies related to financial transactions.
*Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and legislation
*Preparing VAT Returns every quarter for our external accountant
Requirements for the Bookkeeper include: - Experience/knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, stock/Purchase orders module is a must - *Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - *Ability to work as part of a team - *Good communication (restaurants, wholesale experience) and interpersonal skills Excellent Pay Package from 24000 per annum, depends on skills and experience
