Job Description Job Title: Staff Accountant – Operations Company: Richardson Electronics, Ltd. Type: Full time Job Description: Essential Job Functions: • Manage journal entries, accruals, reconciliation and analysis for different areas within finance., • Control month-end close process for one or more of our foreign entities including preparing journal entries, revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement analysis., • Prepare monthly expense tracking and analysis., • Create new ledger accounts and maintain existing accounts., • Complete quarterly intercompany foreign exchange clearing transactions., • Prepare information for press release and SEC filing documents as needed., • US sales and use tax maintenance, reconciliation and submission for payment., • Complete periodic government census reports., • Responsible for global financial close as needed Qualification Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant work experience, • Minimum 2-3 years of experience preferred, • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, • Experience with foreign transactions a plus, • Proficiency in Excel required Working Environment: Remote (Office as needed) About Richardson Electronics: Richardson Electronics, Ltd. is a leading global manufacturer of engineered solutions, power grid and microwave tubes, and related consumables; power conversion and RF and microwave components including green energy solutions; high-value replacement parts, tubes, and service training for diagnostic imaging equipment; and customized display solutions.
