This role focuses on individual federal tax return preparation and review (Form 1040 and related schedules). You'll work with a variety of clients—ranging from W-2 employees to high-net-worth individuals, some with complex income streams, investments, and deductions. PT after May is possible for the right candidate. Ideal for someone looking to work FT for a few weeks and PT thereafter, or perhaps tax season only. Job Description Position Overview: A growing, privately held food & beverage manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting operations and manage a small administrative office. This position oversees a team of four accounting professionals, including roles in general accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be developed to assume the CFO role upon their planned retirement.
