We are currently seeking the following position: JOB TITLE: SUPERVISOR- GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC JOB PURPOSE: Assume full responsibility for managing and overseeing all GSE Mechanic personnel per (IAW) the basic and option requirements. The site supervisor shall be responsible for workload assignments to ensure the non-personal services element of this contract. The site supervisor shall perform duties, oversee, and control contract personnel. The site supervisor is responsible for ensuring employees perform the timely completion of assigned tasks as required. Receive work requirements for contract employees, delegate/assign according to skill set, and ensure employees are available and/or trained for assigned work. Responsible for the accident/incident reporting, attending required meetings, and acting as a single point of contact for interfacing with the Government supervision/management. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assume full responsibility for managing and supervising all contractor personnel engaged in inspecting, maintaining, and handling support of designated GSE., • The position requires the site Supervisor to ensure that all GSE maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and safely per the PWS, technical orders, and applicable regulations., • oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on a wide range of GSE, • Coordinate closely with GR to prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring that all equipment is fully mission-capable to support the squadron's production schedules and operational requirements., • Manage all team personnel administration aspects, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and professional development., • Supervisor ensures all contractor personnel possess the qualifications, proficiency, and security clearances to perform their assigned duties effectively., • Implement and enforce all safety protocols and programs, including adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, Air Force Instructions (AFIs), and the Air Force Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), to promote a safe and compliant work environment., • As the primary liaison between the contractor and the government, the site supervisor shall attend all required meetings with government officials, providing updates on maintenance activities, equipment status, and any issues affecting mission support., • Responsible for preparing and submitting all required reports and documentation, such as Monthly Status Reports, safety plans, mishap reports, and equipment inventory updates within the Facility and FEMS., • Establish and maintain an effective maintenance management program utilizing FEMS and other Government-prescribed automated systems., • Analyze maintenance trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of GSE maintenance operations., • Enforce strict compliance with all data rights and security requirements, safeguarding confidential, proprietary, and sensitive information per the contract stipulations., • Ensure that all hazardous materials and waste are handled and disposed of per local, state, and federal environmental policies., • Coordinate with COR and GR for off-base services or specialized maintenance requirements., • Ensure compliance with all training and qualification requirements necessary to perform the duties outlined in PWS, • Ensuring that all GSE is maintained to the highest standards, thereby maximizing the availability of aircraft mechanics to perform their primary duties REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications for the site Supervisor position include: • Extensive knowledge and experience in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of aerospace ground support equipment., • Deep understanding of electricity, electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, material properties, and corrosion control principles., • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of supervising maintenance personnel and coordinating complex maintenance activities within a high-tempo production environment, are essential., • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with a diverse range of Government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders., • Certification for Refrigerant Handling and Recovery, Certified IAW EPA (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F) under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act Leo Tech, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and Drug-Free Employer.
