Job Description Grant Analyst • Salary Range: $68,182- $81,817 based on relevant years of experience, • Location: Larimer county, Colorado, • Status: Full time, 40 hours per week, • Hours: Monday -Friday (In-person) Role Overview: Serve as a finance business partner for various grant, contract, and budget owners. Assist with various financial activities including planning, budgeting, data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Assist with Collect information from various areas across the organization and assist in the building of models, providing insight into underlying contract and business dynamics. Collaborate with all levels of the organization to resolve issues of varying magnitude with robust financial analysis. Contribute to the annual budgeting process, and other initiatives as they arise; can own and contribute to processes and/or portions of processes. Essential Duties: • Analyze grant/contract proposals and budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals and funding requirements., • Support grant application processes by reviewing financial components and assisting with budget development., • Monitor contract expenditures and maintain accurate records of grant activities, budgets, and reporting deadlines to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations., • Track and analyze contract performance metrics to generate insights that support program improvement and strategic decision-making., • Initiate transaction recording to ensure integrity of financial records., • Collaborate with program managers to ensure timely and accurate reporting of contract deliverables; and prepare financial reports, reimbursement requests, and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders., • Monitor accounts receivable aging for grant/contract reimbursement requests and communicate with funding agencies to address concerns and facilitate reimbursement., • Coordinate audits and reviews related to grant funding and financial compliance., • Identify risks and instigate solutions to improve grant/contract management practices., • Stay current on funding regulations and best practices in grant administration, including Uniform Guidance for federal awards., • Other duties as assigned. Required: • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field required, • More than three years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost or construction accounting, or loan experience preferred, • Experience in Non-Profit, Behavioral Health, or Healthcare settings., • Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.
