JOB TITLE: Logistics Analyst (Intermediate) REQUISITION #: TX-1414-25-FLE CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance LOCATION: Fort Bliss, TX REPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt SUMMARY: SABG is hiring a Logistics Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Fort Bliss, Texas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. • Experience working as an effective team member providing logistics support capability and solve complex logistics problems, • Ability to apply sound judgment to develop policies, plans, procedures and documents, • Ability to identify and apply concepts, policies and practices of logistic management as they apply to Foreign Military Sales operations during preparatory and active training phases, • Ability to use applicable methods and tools to effectively mitigate risks, including planning for risk, assessing risk areas, and developing risk management options, • Experience executing and maintaining support requirements for Government Furnished Property GFP, transportation, Property Accountability, non-tactical vehicles, Item Unique Identification (IUID), and Communication Security mission equipment and requirements, • Experience coordinating local ground transportation and other services during training operations, • Demonstrate purchasing and procurement, packaging, handling, storing, transporting, receiving and issue, and inventory management of various product support equipment, repair parts, tools, consumable items, and hazardous materials, • Experience coordinating quality of life sustainment operations and services in a garrison environment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of providing expertise in Operational Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of a team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Degree requirements: BA/BS in logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment and/or related field with 4 years relevant experience; OR AA/AS in logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment, and/or related field with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience., • Must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning and analysis, and trend analysis, • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships, • Ability to organize and prioritize work, • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment, • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment, • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems promptly; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem-solving situations; and uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics, • Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; and able to read and interpret written information, • Diversity – Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, and promotes a harassment-free environment, • Ethics - Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; and upholds organizational values, • Planning/Organizing - Prioritize and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks if needed; and develops realistic action plans MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
