Job Description Job Title: Press Brake Operator, $24-28 Job Description We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to operate Amada press brake machines for precise custom projects. You will work with sheet metal thicknesses ranging from 20ga up to 3/8” and must be adept at working directly off blueprints and GD&T practices. The role involves handling a mix of long run and short run jobs each day and requires familiarity with tight tolerances from +- 0.0001 to +-0.002. You will also assist with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment. Responsibilities • Operate Amada press brake machines for custom projects., • Work with sheet metal thicknesses from 20ga up to 3/8”., • Read and work directly from blueprints and GD&T practices., • Handle a mix of long run and short run jobs daily., • Ensure precision with tight tolerances from +- 0.0001 to +-0.002., • 2+ years of Press Brake Setup Experience., • Experience with GD&T and Blueprints., • Precision Sheet Metal experience preferred., • Familiarity with brake press machines, CNC press brake, sheet metal fabrication, and laser operations., • Strong mechanical knowledge, especially related to car types. Work Environment Work in an extremely nice climate-controlled fabrication job shop with state-of-the-art equipment. The environment is dynamic with custom projects and products, requiring adaptability to various types of projects. Most of the machines are just a few years old, providing a modern and efficient work experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
