Position: Senior Maintenance Technician – Plastic Injection Molding As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our injection molding machines and related equipment running at peak performance. Your expertise ensures production stays on track, downtime is minimized, and quality remains uncompromised. Key Responsibilities * Machine Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on injection molding machines. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues using technical knowledge of devices, circuitry, motors, schematics, and wiring diagrams. * Equipment Calibration: Adjust and calibrate equipment to meet production specifications, including machine parameters, temperature, and pressure controls. * Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve production issues with machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to minimize disruptions. * Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce all safety procedures to protect yourself, your team, and our facility. * Documentation: Maintain detailed maintenance records, repair logs, and modification histories for future reference and analysis. * Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and implement new technologies that enhance productivity. * Spare Parts Management: Oversee spare parts inventory, ordering, and budget to ensure readiness for repairs. * Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations. Qualifications * Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, or Pneumatics preferred. * Experience: 8+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; strong preference for plastic injection molding industry experience. * Technical Skills: * Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge. * Proven troubleshooting and repair skills for injection molding machinery. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and safety protocols. * Skilled in the use of hand tools and precision instruments. * Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
