About the Role: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the South Central (TX, OK, MS, LA, AR, KS, MO, NE) region is responsible for driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and tactical execution, ensuring the region achieves sales, service, and profitability objectives while maintaining compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational excellence initiatives. The RSM acts as the primary liaison between the field sales team, customers, and senior leadership, ensuring collaboration across multiple functions including Fabrication, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Finance, and HR. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor degree preferred or minimum 5+ years relevant work experience in a similar job role, • Leadership personality, • Industrial sales management experience, • Experience in selling to industries such as manufacturing, automotive, textiles, packaging, oil & gas, or construction., • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, C4C, or similar platforms., • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Sales Leadership & Strategy: • Lead, mentor, and motivate Territory Sales Representatives to consistently achieve sales and service targets., • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market share in the South Central region., • Regularly review sales performance, coach the team, and align efforts with organizational goals. Cost: • Monitor and manage regional sales budgets to ensure efficiency and profitability., • Identify opportunities to optimize costs in sales processes, travel, and customer engagement without sacrificing customer value., • Support company-wide cost-saving initiatives by aligning sales activities with operational efficiencies. Quality: • Ensure customers receive products and services that meet or exceed expectations., • Monitor quality-related KPIs and partner with Quality and R&D teams to resolve issues promptly., • Represent the “voice of the customer” to internal stakeholders regarding product performance and service needs. Delivery Performance: • Ensure customer delivery commitments are met in alignment with service-level agreements., • Collaborate with Operations, Fabrication, and Supply Chain teams to maintain adequate inventory levels and prevent delivery delays., • Monitor and improve KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead times, and order accuracy., • Actively communicate with customers regarding delivery timelines and resolve potential bottlenecks before they impact service. Operational Excellence: • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team., • Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices in sales operations and customer engagement., • Leverage CRM (C4C) and other tools for data-driven decision-making and process improvement. Norms, Rules & Regulations: • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales practices., • Support ISO, health, safety, and environmental standards through proper training and adherence to company procedures., • Uphold corporate governance requirements, including accurate reporting and audit readiness. HR: • Responsible for all HR-matters of employees in direct area of responsibility., • Ensure rapid and qualified onboarding of new staff., • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development., • Ensure timely and adequate succession planning. Health & Safety: • Ensure all sales activities and customer site visits follow health and safety guidelines., • Actively promote safe working practices among the team., • Partner with HSE leaders to continuously improve the working environment for field-based employees. Finance / Reporting: • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, revenue reports, and KPI updates to senior leadership., • Analyze financial data to identify variances and implement corrective actions., • Ensure transparency in pipeline reporting, customer opportunities, and performance metrics. Cooperation: • Collaborate seamlessly with Fabrication, R&D, Quality, Finance, HR, and Operations teams to align strategies and share market insights., • Build strong internal networks across the organization to support growth and customer satisfaction., • Act as a team player with a holistic view of company objectives, prioritizing decisions that benefit the organization as a whole.
