Job Description Respite Care of San Antonio (RCSA) provides services to enhance the stability and nurturing opportunities of families caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnosis. Our goal is to strengthen and stabilize families, prevent possible child abuse, and prevent or delay institutionalization of the child with special needs. We offer various services for children with developmental disabilities and/or complex medical diagnoses, such as a full-time daycare, mother's day out program, family day out/parents' night out program, and summer camps. Along with this, we are a licensed emergency shelter and foster placement agency for children who have been taken into state protective custody. The Residential Care Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and supervising direct care staff during their scheduled shift and ensuring a smooth operation/transition between end of shift. Works to ensure that each child receives the proper care and guidance while providing safety, comfort, and assisting them with their basic living skills. Complete orientation, pre-service training and shadowing as required by program administrators. Essential Functions: • Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS), • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission, • Aligns daily business practices related to Power Rental Solutions, Temperature controls, and Air Products with the company’s core values, mission and vision, so that they are effectively and consistently put into action, • Creates and implements long-term collaborative strategic plan for Power Rental Solutions, Temperature controls, and Air Products in order to maintain stability and growth for the company and satisfy the needs of all stakeholder groups, • Evaluates and oversees capital resources (e.g. financial, facilities, tooling inventories) of Power Rental Solutions, Temperature controls, and Air Products in order to optimize revenue and meet the balanced needs of all stakeholder groups, • Ensures successful management of daily operational practices (structure, systems, processes) in order to provide Legendary Customer Service, • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards, • Expert technical aptitude and understanding of Power Rental Solutions, Temperature controls, and Air Products industry, • Strong knowledge of business accounting principles, budget preparation, and strong business acumen, • Excellent oral and written communication skills, • Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with vendors, own staff, and corporate executives to exchange information, influence and persuade, • Exceptional skills required in solid problem solving, planning, organization, time management and analysis, • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills, • Knowledge of Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills; customer retention, • Excellent formal presentation skills after both small and large groups, • Driven and results oriented; business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets, • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, or Construction Management preferred, • Eight or more years of directly related business management and/or operational management experience leading diverse sales teams and offering a broad range of product offerings, • Significant Extensive travel within territory, 40% - 60%, • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc., • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations, • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, • Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue, • Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 lbs., • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina, • Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladder, • Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment, • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work, • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment, • Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity, • Noise level may be loud at times, • Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment, • On occasion time spent in confined spaces and high places., • Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions Disclaimer: Please note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
