Job Description Job Title: Electrical Assembler Job Description The Electrical Assembler reads electrical schematics and assembles, wires, and lays out electrical cabinets for control panels. You begin with cabinet layout work and, as you gain proficiency, progress to more complex tasks such as installing panduit and completing full panel builds in a clean, modern production environment. Responsibilities • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to assemble and wire electrical control panels and cabinets accurately., • Perform layout work on electrical cabinets, including placement of components according to drawings and specifications., • Install and route wiring, panduit, and other electrical hardware within control panels and cabinets., • Assemble electrical and mechanical components for panel boards and related equipment., • Verify proper connections, continuity, and component placement to ensure panels meet quality and safety standards., • Use basic hand and power tools to complete assembly and wiring tasks efficiently and safely., • Collaborate with team members and leads to clarify drawings, resolve issues, and maintain production schedules., • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop floor and security procedures., • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints., • Hands-on experience with electrical panel or electrical cabinet assembly and wiring., • Familiarity with electrical components used in control panels and panel boards., • Basic mechanical assembly skills using hand and power tools., • Attention to detail to ensure accurate wiring, labeling, and layout., • Capability to follow written instructions, drawings, and work orders., • Tech I: Technical education (such as a program similar to Ranken) with no field experience, OR 1–3 years of panel building experience without a degree., • Experience working on electrical cabinets, electrical panels, and control panel layouts., • Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, and schematic reading in a shop or manufacturing environment., • Comfort working with both electrical and basic mechanical assembly tasks., • Strong problem-solving skills when interpreting drawings and resolving wiring or layout questions., • Willingness to work optional overtime when available to support production needs. Work Environment This role is based on a very clean, quiet, and well-lit shop floor designed for focused electrical assembly work. The facility uses badge security throughout the building and in individual rooms to ensure a safe and controlled environment. The standard shift runs from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with plenty of optional overtime available. Employees have access to an employee rest area with lunch and snack options, ample seating, televisions, and games such as Golden Tee and air hockey, creating a comfortable space for breaks. The environment supports professional, shop-appropriate attire suitable for working with electrical and mechanical components. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olivette, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
