Job Description Position Summary: • Take ownership of managing clients and their construction projects, from project initiation through completion, while adhering to established budgets, schedules, and quality standards., • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and a culture of excellence., • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, engineers, trade partners, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes., • Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, timelines, resources, risk assessments, and critical milestones., • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial reports, taking proactive measures to maintain financial targets and profitability., • Mitigate potential risks and challenges by identifying issues early, strategizing solutions, and implementing corrective actions., • Lead procurement activities, including subcontractor selection, material sourcing, and equipment procurement, in accordance with project specifications., • Chair project meetings, deliver regular progress updates, and maintain transparent communication to keep stakeholders informed and engaged., • Uphold a steadfast commitment to safety by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of workplace safety., • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing best practices across projects., • Mentor and develop project team members, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for growth., • Continuously foster strong relationships with clients, retain current repeat clients, and identify and nurture prospective clients. Qualifications • Exceptional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams., • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement., • Strategic problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure scenarios, to ensure optimal project outcomes., • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all project deliverables. • Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices., • Demonstrated commitment to safety in construction practices., • Self-motivated and positive attitude, coupled with a strong sense of initiative., • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project demands and changing priorities. The minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies, and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career. • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field., • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction project management, demonstrating a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget., • Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices., • Experience with project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts., • In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting processes., • Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification., • History of continual professional learning, growth, and development. Additional Information Work Environment/Physical Requirements: • Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., standing or sitting) for extended periods when reviewing plans or conducting meetings., • Ability to move about active construction sites, including walking on uneven terrain, climbing ladders or scaffolding, ascending/descending stairs, and navigating tight spaces., • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds., • Ability to read printed plans, drawings, and computer screens, and conduct conversations in person and via phone/radio in noisy environments., • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures., • Ability to operate standard office and site inspection tools (e.g., laptop, tablet, measuring devices, etc.)
