We are seeking a passionate, reliable Chef de Partie / Cook 1 to prepare and execute high-quality dishes with precision and consistency at the MAC Clayton Clubhouse. Chef de Partie / Cook 1 Responsibilities: · Runs assigned station independently with consistency and accuracy. · Executes all menu items following recipes, plating guides, and MAC Clayton standards. · Prepares daily mise en place, ensuring freshness, quality, and accurate portioning. · Maintains walk-in refrigerators, labeling, storage, and station organization at all times. · Ensures FIFO, freshness, and rotation standards are met daily. · Receives products, checks quality, and properly stores ingredients. · Communicates par levels, shortages, and prep needs to Sous Chef. · Maintains clean, sanitized, organized station before, during, and after service. · Supports banquet production when needed. · Executes duties with a sense of urgency, discipline, and culinary pride. · Helps train Cook 2 and prep-level staff on basic technique and station expectations. · Ensures correct usage of kitchen equipment and reports any repair needs. · Participates in tastings, training, and ongoing culinary development. Chef de Partie / Cook 1 Qualifications: · 2–4 years of professional kitchen experience. · Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques. · Ability to run a station independently. · Experience in high-end restaurants, hotels, or private clubs preferred. · Ability to follow direction, maintain consistency, and operate under pressure. · Food safety certification preferred.
