Job Description Mancuso Homes Project Manager/Superintendent Location: Rocky River, OH (Field-Based) Mancuso Homes is a luxury renovation and custom home-building contractor serving discerning homeowners throughout the Greater Cleveland area. The Project Manager/Superintendent oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of luxury residential renovations and custom home building from pre-construction through final walk-through. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing luxury residential construction projects. Proficiency in Buildertrend is essential, as it is our primary platform for scheduling, budgeting, communication, and project documentation. Key Responsibilities • Manage multiple luxury renovation and custom home projects simultaneously from start to finish., • Take full ownership of project success: safety, schedule, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction., • Perform daily site visits for all active projects to review and document safety and adherence to OSHA standards, cleanliness and jobsite organization, subcontractor and supplier coordination, and progress vs. schedule, with updates entered into Buildertrend., • Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure design intent and code compliance., • Manage daily performance of subcontractors and suppliers in the field., • Track progress against the schedule, identify slippage early, and create action plans to get things back on track., • Obtain subcontractor estimates and secure client sign-off on all change orders., • Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers to deliver the highest quality materials and workmanship., • Serve as the main point of contact for clients once projects move into the field., • Lead weekly client calls, answer questions, set expectations, and communicate clearly and proactively., • Resolve issues and warranty items in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner., • Use Buildertrend daily to manage schedules, selections, change orders, and communications., • Document daily logs via Buildertrend with notes and photos for all active projects., • Provide weekly project status updates during internal project management meetings and ensure Buildertrend is fully up to date., • Participate in post-project reviews to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement., • Help identify opportunities for business development and community involvement., • Represent Mancuso Homes with a polished, friendly, and solutions-oriented approach at all times. Qualifications • Mid-level experience as a Project Manager/Superintendent or similar role in residential construction., • Proven experience with custom homes and large-scale, luxury renovations (both are important)., • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents., • Solid understanding of residential construction sequencing, trades, codes, and best practices., • Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction project management software (strong plus)., • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members., • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects at different stages., • Demonstrates a solutions-focused mindset, taking initiative to resolve issues rather than simply identifying them., • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation (this role is best suited to someone with a truck or similar vehicle, due to regular site visits and hauling materials)., • Willingness to submit to a background check if offered the position. Schedule & Work Environment • Core business hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with additional hours as needed for project success., • Primarily field-based across the greater Cleveland suburbs and Northeast Ohio service area., • Dress code: clean, professional field attire.
