The PSR II performs high-quality blood draws, specimen handling, and patient-focused service with professionalism, accuracy, and compassion. This position requires excellent phlebotomy skills, strong communication, and a commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and process excellence.Key Responsibilities:, • Perform accurate, safe, and efficient specimen collection following established clinical and forensic protocols., • Verify patient identity, demographics, and labeling during and after venipuncture to ensure accuracy., • Maintain required records and documentation to ensure quality assurance and traceability., • Demonstrate professional communication and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and team members., • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment., • Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety standards., • Support multiple collection sites as needed and ensure coverage consistency., • Perform duties independently while maintaining alignment with supervisor guidance., • Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company standards and procedures., • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Required Experience:, • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections., • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center or hospital-based environment preferred., • Customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment preferred., • Data entry and computer proficiency required.Education & Certification:, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred., • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).Required Skills:, • Phlebotomy (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary), • Patient Identification & Sample Verification, • Laboratory Safety and CompliancePreferred Skills:, • Hospital Phlebotomy Experience, • Multi-Site Flexibility and Coverage, • Data Entry AccuracyAdditional Skills:, • Customer Service & Communication, • Decision-Making and Judgment, • Superior Customer Focus, • Process Excellence and ConfidentialitySchedule:, • Day Shift (CST): 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM, • Flexible hours; may include occasional weekends or coverage as needed.Benefits:, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans We are a Native American-owned, economically disadvantaged corporation that highly values diverse and inclusive workplaces.
