Description Leidos is seeking multiple Security Control Assessors to join our SCA team. This position requires significant travel-please review the position overview below for important details. The maximum starting salary for this role is $85,000. A Top Secret clearance and current IAT/IAM II certification (eg Security+ or equivalent) is required for consideration. POSITION OVERVIEW As a Security Control Assessor, you will play a key role in conducting Security Control Assessments at various government sites, with approximately 85% of your time on travel assignments. Travel may be domestic or international, depending on mission requirements, and per diem is provided to cover expenses. Support, evaluate and interpret incoming intelligence reports and other information vital to the success of protective and security programs., • Review event details and provide an intelligence assessment related to identified issues, demonstration activity, or individuals of concern that could potentially impact events identified by requests for intelligence assessments. Also conduct appropriate outreach with law enforcement for situational awareness or police presence as needed., • Assist law enforcement by identifying threat actors and providing a threat assessment via research and analysis using commercial and government databases, publicly available information, and social media investigation., • Support investigations using the Behavioral Threat Assessment Management model.
