Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Join a growing team of consulting engineers and project managers specializing in design, drilling, and maintenance of subsurface salt caverns and injection wells; and environmental regulatory compliance. This position will be responsible for performing business accounting tasks including internal report preparation, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement and project cost control, and payroll. Strata’s clients include midstream oil and gas, manufacturing, chemical, and heavy industrial clients. • Assist in compiling financial data and preparing a variety of financial statements., • Update records detailing financial business transactions (i.e., disbursements, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable)., • Utilizing accounting software to input and manage financial data., • Process and schedule accounts receivable and accounts payable., • Create and submit past due statements., • Prepare twice-monthly check run reports, write checks and initiate ACH transfer, and send remittance notices., • Record payment and deposit receipts., • Track project budgets and report updates to Strata Project Managers., • Prepare Purchase Orders for contractors and vendors., • Compile and invoice project hours and project expenses to clients., • Submit invoices to clients and submit to client invoicing systems to initiate accounts receivable., • Review monthly credit card expense transactions and expense reports., • Assist with processing payroll, collect/track/record timesheets, and track PTO., • Issue sales tax certificates., • Assist with project controls to assure projects budgets are maintained., • Experience, • None required. One (1) or more years preferred. On the job training., • Education, • Associate’s degree required.
