Job Type: Full-time Job Title: Machine Operator - Sheet Metal Fabrication Start Date: Immediately Salary Range: $23-$29/hourly DOE Position Overview: The Machine Operator will set up and manage machines (calibration, clean, adjust speed, test, repair, etc.), feeding raw materials and parts into semi-automatic machinery. They will inspect parts for precision and catch any flaws, fixing issues as needed. The Operator will keep records of products and units. The operator will also deliver materials to job sites as needed. Essential Functions: • Fabricate and alter materials needed for projects which includes:, • Read fabrication tickets and select appropriate materials, • Cutting, bending, and shaping metal using appropriate machinery and tools, • Welding, bolting, riveting, and sauntering using appropriate machinery and tools, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse including straightening, trash collection, etc, • Support fulfillment of load lists for jobs and staging of materials bound for job sites, • Assist Warehouse Manager with maintenance and management of warehouse inventory as needed, • Current Driver's License and maintain DOT Certification, • Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills including ability to manage multiple tasks, • Ability to follow directions, • Detail-oriented, • Hard-working, • Excellent team player with good communication skills, • Embody and model company values of Family Culture, JR Attitude (humility, teachable), Extreme Ownership, Grow or Die mindset, • Always represent the company in a positive manner, • High School Diploma and GED, • 1-3 years of architectural cladding/sheet metal experience, • 1-3 years of Sheet Metal Fabrication experience, • OSHA 10 Construction Industry Certification (or ability to obtain) Work Environment/Physical Requirements: • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program, • Ability to drive vehicles while hauling trailers and motorized equipment for the company in compliance with company and DOT driver policies and standards, • Ability to perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights), • Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater, • Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, • Use of hands and arms for operating machinery, • Indoor and Outdoor work environment in all types of weather, • Overtime and weekend work (This position must be available after hours in case emergencies or crucial, last-minute orders arise), • Health insurance, • Telehealth, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • 401(k), • 401(k) matching Ability to Relocate:
