Job DescriptionSalary: $60,000-80,000 annually Job Status: Full Time Work Week/Hours: Saturday- Wednesday Department: Send Quadrant Direct Reports: TBD Reports to: Executive Director, Send Quadrant Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance, 403B contributions, PTO Job Summary: The Outreach & Expansion Director serves as both an organizational and spiritual leader, responsible for guiding the churchs local and global outreach efforts. This role exists to mobilize the church body into Christ-centered mission, steward partnerships, and develop systems that translate the churchs vision into tangible impact. The Director leads teams, equips leaders, and ensures that outreach initiatives are biblically grounded, spiritually formed, and operationally excellent. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, creative, and energized by working in a mission-driven, people-oriented, fast-paced entrepreneurial team. The successful individual will exercise sound judgment, communicate confidently and clearly in both verbal and written form, and demonstrate strong administrative, relational, and organizational skills, while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Outreach & Expansion Director will work closely with the Executive Director of the Send Quadrant in a highly collaborative environment, while also managing projects independently from conception to completion. This role requires the ability to work well under pressure and handle a wide range of activities and confidential matters with discretion. It also focuses on building and implementing systems that equip leaders, strengthen ministry initiatives, and execute vision, while providing strong team and spiritual leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead Local Outreach & Service Ministries • Provide vision, leadership, and pastoral oversight to the Local Missions team., • Plan and lead Local Mission weekends and church-wide service initiatives., • Ensure outreach efforts are integrated into the life and rhythms of the congregation., • Champion neighborhood engagement initiatives, including the Cultivate initiative, fostering a culture of presence, service, and hospitality., • Further develop and deepen engagement in quarterly, local missions, congregational initiatives, such as the spring food drive., • Plan and lead all local missions communication and language to insure clarity, alignment, inspiration and consistency in order to enrich congregational engagement. Oversee Global Missions, in partnership with the Global Missions Coordinator • Coordinate Global Missions weekends and initiatives., • Cultivate and steward long-term mission partners and relationships., • Oversee short-term mission trip planning and preparation., • Integrate students and next-generation participants into global mission opportunities., • Oversee all global missions communication and language to insure clarity, alignment, inspiration, and consistency in order to enrich congregational engagement. Coordinate Multi-Campus Outreach Alignment • Lead and coordinate outreach teams across campuses to ensure unity of vision and practice., • Manage timelines and execution for new outreach launches., • Develop and deliver training resources that equip volunteers and leaders., • Lead campus outreach meetings, particularly during pre-launch and seasonal initiatives., • Facilitate collaboration between ministry departments to support holistic mission engagement. Organize and Implement the Build the Future Initiative • Design and implement programming that increases congregational engagement in outreach., • Partner with the Communications team to ensure clarity, storytelling, and consistency of messaging., • Collaborate with the Connect and Hospitality teams to integrate outreach pathways for guests and members., • Work with the Finance team to ensure responsible planning, budgeting, and stewardship. Establish Leadership Development Systems: • Build sustainable leadership development structures for outreach and mission teams., • Coordinate logistics for all Leadership Development (LD) initiatives beginning in 2027., • Develop both specialized and general leadership training pathways., • Equip leaders to disciple others and multiply impact within the church. Support SEND Vision & Mission-Centered Initiatives: • Assist with all SEND-related strategies and mission-centric projects., • Contribute to team development and leader formation., • Support idea creation, implementation, and ministry forecasting., • Collaborate on leadership development experiences, mission, sites, and expos. Skills & Abilities • Self-motivated while remaining highly collaborative and coachable., • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and follow-through., • Gifted communicator, both written and oral, able to connect across ministry contexts., • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteer and staff teams., • Demonstrated capacity to move people from vision to action., • Comfortable leading in fast-paced, complex ministry environments., • Strong competence with Apple computers, ChMS database, and within Microsoft Office suite., • High level of initiative, attention to detail, organization, and good judgment., • Ability to creatively develop thoughtful, mission aligned solutions in a complex, dynamic environment., • Strategic thinker with openness to innovation, learning, and emerging technologies.
