Job Description Pay Range: $122,640USD to $159,432USD SUMMARY The Deposit Relationship Manager plays a key role in advancing the Bank’s deposit growth strategy. This manager is focused on relationship leadership, market engagement, and portfolio stewardship, working collaboratively across the organization to support long‑term, deposit‑led growth. The ideal candidate for this role has strong market awareness, sound business judgment, and an established portfolio. The ability to develop trusted client relationships, influence outcomes through collaboration, and identify opportunities that align client needs with the Bank’s strategic objectives will be essential to the Deposit Relationship Manager’s success. This manager strengthens the Bank’s funding base, profitability, and market presence. By driving stable, relationship‑based deposit growth, the Deposit Relationship Manager directly contributes to the Bank’s financial performance, strategic growth objectives, and long‑term success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Develop and execute an individual business plan to achieve assigned deposit growth targets, including new relationship acquisition, expansion of existing deposit balances, and development of primary banking relationships within the assigned market., • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve assigned deposit growth targets through new relationship acquisition, expansion of existing balances, and establishment of primary banking relationships within the assigned market., • Own accountability for deposit growth, retention, and relationship depth across a managed portfolio, ensuring a strong, diversified, and sustainable deposit mix., • Utilize an existing network and portfolio of deposit relationships to drive new business and deepen client engagement., • Serve as a key contributor to the Bank’s deposit growth strategy by providing market insight, identifying opportunities, and supporting best practices across relationship management teams., • Strengthen the Bank’s position as the primary depository institution by delivering consultative, relationship‑driven solutions that support clients’ liquidity, cash flow, and long‑term financial objectives., • Collaborate with senior leadership and internal partners to assess market dynamics, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities, and to implement strategies that drive sustained deposit growth and portfolio performance., • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of deposit‑focused opportunities while developing, retaining, and expanding client relationships through a comprehensive, deposit‑led relationship approach., • Partner closely with Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, and Branch Banking teams to deliver coordinated solutions that maximize deposit acquisition, retention, and cross‑functional referrals., • Maintain responsibility for relationship continuity and deposit outcomes throughout onboarding and transition to internal servicing partners., • Represent the Bank within the community and relevant business networks to enhance market presence, expand referral channels, and support deposit growth initiatives., • Maintain current knowledge of economic conditions, competitive deposit offerings, pricing strategies, and the Bank’s products, services, and profitability to inform relationship strategies and growth decisions., • Assume responsibility for special projects and tasks as assigned. EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and experience required., • A minimum of seven years of increasingly responsible experience within banking, lending, sales, or managing customer relations required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Exceptional business development, networking, and relationship-building skills., • Strong understanding of sales principles, with the ability to identify sales opportunities, provide meaningful product recommendations, and support an overall culture of sales excellence., • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements with a deep understanding of how these rules and regulations apply to sales functions within a financial institution., • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to remain organized and produce accurate, efficient work in a fast-paced environment., • Successful project management and strategic planning experience with a substantial record of managing projects, setting goals, developing timelines, and monitoring progress., • Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to analyze potential project outcomes with the adaptability to redirect attention as needed to meet targets and deadlines., • Confident decision-making abilities and the skill to use sound judgment about the timing of choices; particularly the ability to make informed, responsible decisions with limited information or under considerable amounts of stress., • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels., • A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions., • Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite., • Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position., • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage; additionally, the ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities., • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred., • Management experience within banking industry strongly preferred.
