Job Description Seven Arrows seeks a dynamic Kindergarten Co-lead Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will partner with two co-teachers and will be responsible for all facets of learning along with demonstrating a commitment to our school community and mission. All teachers are responsible for planning and delivering instruction that is attentive to individual students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Responsibilities: • Plan and teach language arts, math, and history curriculum, • Differentiate instruction in alignment with our approach to personalized learning, • Integrate technology into the teaching-learning process, • Perform ongoing student assessments, review data on student progress, write progress reports, schedule and hold parent conferences 3 times per year, • Apply a range of strategies to successfully manage a strength-based classroom, • Conduct weekly Council in the classroom and incorporate regular use of mindfulness, • Assist students in developing self-discipline and a sense of responsibility, • Help supervise children during transitions, some specialty classes, and lunch/snack when necessary, • Work with other teachers on curriculum development, including STEAM and Spanish projects, as well as school initiatives, (e.g. UbD curriculum design, Design Thinking, and Makerspace integration), • Communicate with parents and professional colleagues on a regular basis, • Collaborate effectively with partner teachers, • Attend weekly faculty meetings and participate actively in curricular discussions in an ongoing exchange of information, professional development, and support with a closely-knit staff, • Attend school-related evening events and environmental programs, • Adhere to school hours for teachers which are 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and 7:30-5:00 on Tuesdays., • Attend evening events, such as Back to School Night, Open House, and certain festivals as scheduled, • Attend 3 Saturday events as needed Qualities: • An unwavering commitment to students and the community, • Enthusiasm for the opportunities and challenges inherent in working with elementary school age students, • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, colleagues and parents, • Willingness to model professional and ethical standards, • A commitment to professional development, • A commitment to social emotional and multicultural education, • Willingness to differentiate instruction Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required, Master's Degree preferred, • California State Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, • 6+ years as a lead teacher in a kindergarten classroom, • Trained in Orton Gillingham Approach (a plus), • Familiar with Singapore Math, Social Thinking strategies, Responsive Classroom, • Demonstrates our core values: citizenship, gratitude, empathy, integrity, pursuit of excellence, respect, and responsibility.Company DescriptionFounded in 1999, Seven Arrows Elementary is a small by design independent K-6 school founded in Pacific Palisades, California and now located in Santa Monica.
