In this role, you’ll provide senior technical expertise to internal teams and clients, pursue new clients and projects with existing clients, and mentor talented junior and mid-level staff. You’ll collaborate with teams across the company to lead and grow our PFAS program in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities As a Senior Scientist/Engineer and PFAS lead at Ensolum, your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, and they will typically include: • Identifying and pursuing new PFAS-related business opportunities across multiple sectors; developing proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates for prospective clients., • Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships through expertise, trust, and project delivery., • Building and managing project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance., • Considering and developing strategies for emerging PFAS problems for our existing project teams and clients., • Leading the design and execution of site investigation and remediation projects related to PFAS and providing technical support to existing project teams on fate and transport, impacts to public health and environment, handling and disposal, remediation, and regulatory compliance., • Overseeing project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and client communications., • Networking and research to remain current on regulations and scientific advancement., • Representing Ensolum at conferences, industry events, and client meetings to position the company as a PFAS thought leader., • Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements in field and office work. Qualifications We’re always looking for people who are self-motivated, learning-oriented, and client-centric.And to be considered for this role at Ensolum, you’ll also need a few more qualification requirements: • BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field, • 10 or more years of experience in environmental consulting, • 10 or more years of experience in PFAS-related human health and ecological risk assessments, hydrogeology, fate and transport, and investigation and remediation., • Expert in existing and emerging state and federal regulations concerning PFAS., • Demonstrated leadership of project teams and direct supervisory experience., • Successful client relationships and experience growing work., • Strong technical writing and communication skills, • Safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices, • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and personal vehicle, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, • Able to pass drug & alcohol screening and background check What we offer: • Competitive salary and benefits, • Generous incentive bonus program, • Transparent structured pathway to equity ownership, • A collaborative, down-to-earth team that’s genuinely great to work with Who we are: Ensolum [en-ˈsō-ləm] Derived from Latin roots: "en-" (within, inside) and "solum" (ground, soil).
