Job DescriptionJob Overview: As a Project and Business Development Manager, you will be working across industries to provide outstanding Operational Technology related services and products identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategies for growth, managing projects, and building relationships with clients and partners to drive revenue and expand market presence. You could be working on opportunities for assembly lines, Oil and Gas, datacenters, food and beverage, building automation, pharmaceutical and more! The role will require excellence as an individual contributor as well as working as part of a larger team. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: • Manage the Project Lifecycle from initial request (RFQ) to after-sale service:, • Plan, organize, and execute projects within budget and on schedule, • Develop project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation., • Identify project risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies, • Ensure project alignment with company strategy and objectives, • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, • Monitor project progress and implement appropriate corrective action, • Build and manage Project teams: Recruit, train, and manage project teams, assign tasks, and provide guidance, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: work with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and other departments to achieve project goals, • Manage vendors and contractors: Manage vendor and contractor relationships, schedules, and costs to achieve project goals Business Development: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Research potential markets, clients, and partnerships, • Develop and execute business development strategies: Create and execute plans to achieve growth targets including market entry strategies, sales and commercial strategies, and, • partnership initiatives, • Build and maintain relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, partners, and stakeholders, • Generate leads and close deals: Identify and qualify leads, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts, • Track and analyze business performance: Monitor key metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions, • Manage and service customer accounts: Manage customer issues, new concerns, and new project opportunities, • Represent the Company: Act as company ambassador at trade shows, events, training classes, and on customers’ sites as required, • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies, • Financial Analysis: Develop and manage budgets, forecast revenue, and analyze financial performance Work is completed in hybrid work environments, in office with the team, occasionally from home, and in the field. Sales professionals are expected to work odd hours to be available to our clients, set up for events, attend breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and travel for conferences and key customer engagements. Requirements • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other Technical discipline strongly preferred, • Must have demonstrable portfolio of contacts and successes, • Drug Free work environment, • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel without restrictions, • 5+ years in industrial or technical sales, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Excellent problem solving, analytical and detail-oriented mindset, • Ability to work with cross-functional and discipline teams effectively, • Ability to project and account manage post sale to keep customer's engaged and happy, • Strong knowledge in marketing, CRMs, and event coordination BenefitsAtlas OT employees are the best, and as such get the best benefits.
