Featuring 32 natural hot spring pools, 16 WorldSprings-inspired pools, barrel saunas, cold dip pools, and much more, we are committed to creating a peaceful and rejuvenating sanctuary for our visitors. Zion Canyon Hot Springs will be a top-tier retreat that combines natural beauty and wellness. Position Summary The Cook/Cashier plays a dual role in supporting both the kitchen and guest service operations. This position is responsible for preparing and serving food items in accordance with health and safety guidelines, as well as managing register transactions and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. A successful candidate will be efficient, courteous, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards. • Operate cooking equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in all food prep areas. • Accurately take guest orders and process payments using the POS system. • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized front-of-house and back-of-house environment. • Ensure all food is stored, handled, and served in accordance with health and safety regulations. • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery. • Assist with receiving and storing food inventory and supplies. • Uphold guest service standards by providing friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service. • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. • Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service preferred. • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (food handler's permit required or ability to obtain). • Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude. • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. • Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented. • Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings., • Must be 16 years or older to apply., • Must be 21 years or older to apply to the 21+ side of the property.
