Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist - Irvine, CA or Chicago, IL Your Impact As the Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, management, and execution of the firms’ social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and boost engagement. This role is ideal for someone who understands the social media landscape at a strategic level and excels at building and fostering brand engagement. Reporting to the Director, Creative Services, you will partner with the Demand Marketing team to conceptualize and execute organic and paid campaigns to reach our target audience and achieve marketing campaign objectives. This hybrid position will be based either in our Irvine, CA or downtown Chicago, IL office; we will consider candidates in proximity to our other office locations. Key Job Functions Strategy Development • Partners with marketing specialists to understand studio business plans and broader marketing campaigns (e.g., national and regional campaigns, speaking engagements, conferences, etc.)., • Develops and executes a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand objectives and broader marketing campaigns., • Monitors competition to understand appeal of their marketing content and approach, identifies and recommends ways to improve firm strategy., • Conceptualizes and executes social media campaigns that align with marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness, increase engagement and conversion rates., • Plans and executes paid social media campaigns including ad creation, targeting and budget management, to support marketing campaign objectives., • Creates and manages a social media editorial calendar, directing the publishing rhythm across platforms, and stays close to performance signals so each new round of content builds on what resonates., • Collaborates with the Director, Creative Services, to ensure our brand-visual identity is consistently represented., • Oversees publishing across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, IGX2, Dwell and Archinect), refine captions, and manages the rhythm of posts to keep channels active and intentional., • Writes engaging, platform-native captions and post copy that aligns with brand guidelines while reflecting current social trends., • Updates social media platforms on a regularly scheduled cadence (e.g., cover image, company overview, etc.) to ensure visuals and storytelling are aligned and current., • Monitors social media analytics to measure the success of campaigns and tracks key performance metrics (KPIs)., • Prepares social media reports to provide insights and identifies opportunities to optimize efforts to improve outcomes., • Identifies learnings and optimization opportunities based on content performance, platform trends, and audience behavior. Required Skills and Abilities • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, partner effectively and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills; detail-oriented, • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with all levels within the firm., • The successful candidate will be personable, approachable with excellent communication skills; able to explain complex information clearly and simply., • Ability to research and willingness to learn., • Proficiency in content creation, including writing., • Excellent grammar and proofing skills., • Proficient using the following software:, • MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, • Premier Pro, • Figma (preferred), • Hootsuite or equivalent social management platform (preferred), • Google Analytics (preferred), • ASANA (preferred) Required Experience and Education • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, communications; or equivalent preferred, • Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar digital media or social media role, • Exceptional knowledge of various social media platforms and their best practices, • A/E/C-specific Marketing and Communications experience preferred Your Career KTGY categorizes roles within the following areas along your career path: Next Steps Does that sound like you?
